How to check your age eligibility

- Enter the "age as on" date given in the exam notification.
- Enter the minimum and maximum age limit from the notification.
- Select your category (General, EWS, OBC or SC/ST) and tick PwBD if it applies to you.
- Read the result. It shows your exact age, whether you are eligible, and the range of birth dates that qualify.
Common age relaxation rules
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): usually 3 years.
- SC/ST: usually 5 years.
- Persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD): usually 10 years, plus the category relaxation.
- Women, ex-servicemen and state domicile candidates may get extra relaxation depending on the exam.
Rules differ between central and state exams. Always read the official notification and, if your relaxation is different, type it in the "own relaxation" box.
What does "not attained the age" mean?
Some notifications say the candidate "should not have attained" a certain age on the cutoff date, while others allow the candidate up to that exact age. The calculator lets you choose either rule.
